<p>O pessoal do <a href="http://www.waltertuche.blogspot.com/">Walter Tuche Assessoria Esportiva</a> fica na <a class="zem_slink" title="Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas" href="http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=-22.971117,-43.211718&amp;spn=0.015,0.015&amp;q=-22.971117,-43.211718 (Lagoa%20Rodrigo%20de%20Freitas)&amp;t=h" rel="geolocation">Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas</a>, a uns 2,3km da minha casa, então eu estava aproveitando essa distancia (que eu sempre volto correndo mesmo) para ir me habituando a correr descalço.</p>
<p>No ultimo treino, foi um intervalado seguido por um treino funcional, eu estava um pouco cansado, mas decidi tentar correr os 2,3km de volta para casa totalmente descalço. Foi excelente! Nenhuma dor, meus pés nem reclamaram de correrem no asfalto sem proteção nenhuma, foi uma maravilha.</p>
<p>Quando recebi o <a href="http://www.fivefingersbrasil.com.br/products/masculino/6-bikila" target="_blank">VFF Bikila</a>, quase não estava conseguindo me agüentar de vontade de ir correr com eles! Mas sei que devo me acostumar a correr “corretamente” de novo, então vou com calma.</p>

<p>Esse final de semana, eu combinei de correr com a <a href="http://valveg.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">minha mulher</a>, o ritmo dela é mais lento do que o meu, então achei a oportunidade perfeita para testar o meu novo <a href="http://www.fivefingersbrasil.com.br/products/masculino/6-bikila" target="_blank">VFF Bikila</a>!</p>
<p>Saímos para correr na Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas por volta das 8h da manhã, aqui no RJ precisamos sair para correr cedo, caso contrário, cozinhamos&#8230; Esse ultimo final de semana estava relativamente quente, quente o suficiente para fazer <a href="http://valveg.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">minha Val</a> sofrer um bocado durante a corrida.</p>
<p>Começamos a nossa corrida na esquina de casa, eu estava adorando isso, começamos correndo na terra batida, um solo mais macio do que o asfalto que nos esperava a frente. Após quase 1,5km já tinha acabado essa maravilhosa terra batida e passamos para o asfalto mesmo, sem problemas até então.</p>
<p>2, 3, 4km passaram e eu comecei a sentir uma costura me perturbando, tinha certeza que viraria uma bolha até o final da corrida.</p>
<p>5km e tudo perfeito, eu comecei a sentir minha falta de condicionamento nos músculos do pé entre 5,5 e 6km, mas nada de mais, sem dores e sem stress. Estava sempre com atenção na minha postura e forma de correr.</p>
<p><a href="http://connect.garmin.com/activity/106727227">Corremos 7,9km</a>, no final eu estava com os pés um pouco, só um pouco cansados, mas sem dores, tirando a costura que a essa hora, já estava me incomodando bastante, eu considero normal, já que correr sem meia é uma coisa complicada, sempre fiquei com bolhas ao fazer isso. Na proxima corrida, não posso esquecer o esparadrapo para esse ponto com costura.</p>
<p>Como fazemos sempre, nos cumprimentamos pela corrida e voltamos para casa com muito calor, porém satisfeitos e contentes.</p>
<p>O <a href="http://www.fivefingersbrasil.com.br/products/masculino/6-bikila" target="_blank">VFF Bikila</a> é um modelo muito confortável, achei melhor do que o <a href="http://www.fivefingersbrasil.com.br/products/masculino/4-kso" target="_blank">KSO</a> (meu primeiro VFF), o tamanho maior foi uma boa, já que não tive os problemas que eu tenho com o meu <a href="http://www.fivefingersbrasil.com.br/products/masculino/4-kso" target="_blank">KSO</a>, meus dedos não encostam na frente, portanto, nada de bolhas, unhas pretas ou dedos doloridos!</p>
<p>Essa foi uma corrida bem leve mesmo, eu ainda tenho que testar o <a href="http://www.fivefingersbrasil.com.br/products/masculino/6-bikila" target="_blank">Bikila</a> em um treino forte/longo.</p>
<p>Ainda estou no período de adaptação, mas daqui em diante, só tenho a melhorar e fortalecer meus pés “engessados”! hahah!</p>

<p>Se você vai tentar <a href="http://www.fivefingersbrasil.com.br/products/masculino" target="_blank">qualquer modelo de Vibram FiveFingers</a>, vá de <a href="http://www.fivefingersbrasil.com.br/products/masculino/6-bikila" target="_blank">VFF Bikila</a> primeiro, achei o mais confortável que eu já experimentei.</p>

<p>O modelo VFF Bikila, é muito confortável, com as plaquinhas de borracha extras para distribuir o impacto mais uniformemente, fazendo com que o Bikila tenha um pouco mais de amortecimento do que o KSO, mas continua sendo um sapato bem minimalista mesmo, pode ser considerado sem amortecimento nenhum.</p>
<p>Eu acabei pedindo um tamanho de <a href="http://www.fivefingersbrasil.com.br/products/masculino/6-bikila" target="_blank">Bikila</a> (tamanho VFF 43) maior do que o meu <a href="http://www.fivefingersbrasil.com.br/products/masculino/4-kso" target="_blank">KSO</a> (tamanho VFF 42), meus dedos não chegam a encostar na frente do sapato, mas em compensação, não ficam batendo lá na frente, o que me causa bolhas e unhas pretas.</p>
<p>Eu recomendo para qualquer um que queira entrar nessa onda de corrida minimalista os sapatos da <a href="http://www.fivefingersbrasil.com.br/" target="_blank">Vibram FiveFingers</a>, eles são muito leves e confortáveis, mas precisam de um período de adaptação.</p>

<p>Tenho um <a href="https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=142&amp;pID=27335" target="_blank">Garmin Forerunner 310XT</a>, modelo ai da foto, feito para triathlon. Muito bom até aparecer um problema. Como faço parte de um grupo grande de pessoas que treinam triathlon, corrida e bicicleta, estou cercado por esses aparelhinhos. Varias pessoas reclamam do relógio, alguns são problemas bobos, reclamação de quem não sabe usar, mas realmente temos alguns problemas sem solução, normalmente são esses que vem parar na minha mão.</p>
<p>O meu 310XT funciona perfeitamente, nunca tive problemas com ele, somente uma vez o relógio corrompeu uma atividade (treino), eu acabei perdendo as informações, distancia, mapa do pedal, batimento cardíaco, o histórico do pedal, mas tudo bem, hoje eu até sei que em alguns casos existe solução.</p>
<p>Esses últimos dias me deparei com um problema que até agora não consegui solucionar, já revirei o <a href="https://forums.garmin.com/forumdisplay.php?f=31" target="_blank">Forum da Garmin</a> de cabo a rabo, muita gente reclama que o relógio não sincroniza com o <a href="http://connect.garmin.com/" target="_blank">Garmin Training Center</a>, o mais engraçado é que o meu relógio esta atualizado com a ultima versão do software da Garmin, a versão 3.70, não tenho problema nenhum para sincronizar com o site. Estou tentando resolver o problema do relógio de um amigo, eu mesmo atualizei o software do relógio para a versão 3.70, mas não consigo sincronizar automaticamente com o site. Tenho todos os outros programas atualizados para as ultimas versões, ANT Agent, drivers e tudo mais.</p>
<p>O relógio é reconhecido pelo ANT Agent, transfere os dados para o computador, mas na hora do computador mandar para o site da Garmin, ocorre um &#8220;erro no servidor&#8221;, só consigo mandar o arquivo manualmente pelo site. Eu achei que o arquivo havia sido corrompido pelo relógio, mas não é o caso, se fosse o site da Garmin nem aceitaria o upload manual.</p>
<p>Até o momento a Garmin não falou nada sobre o assunto, ainda não saiu nenhuma atualização para corrigir o erro.</p>

<p>Bom, tudo começou no final de Agosto de 2008. Eu me vi trabalhando em frente a um computador durante 10h por dia, sem horário de almoço, pelo menos, eu já tinha me tornado Vegano.</p>
<p>Eu decidi que tinha que fazer algum exercício, comecei na academia, fazendo musculação, por estímulos do pessoal do trabalho, tentei fazer uma coisa que eu nunca tinha feito na minha vida, tirando uma ocasião de vida ou morte&#8230; decidi correr&#8230;</p>
<p>Já estava indo a academia por umas duas semanas, a primeira vez que subi na esteira na academia, quase cai, mas logo me entendi com a ajuda do apoio da esteira, quem diria que uma pessoa precisa aprender a &#8220;andar/correr&#8221; novamente para poder usar uma esteira?</p>
<p>Corri por uns 15 minutos, uma façanha inédita na minha vida sedentária. Uma coisa incrível aconteceu comigo, tirando que eu quase caí de novo quando eu desci da esteira, pois estava completamente perdido por ter corrido naquele negócio, eu estava me sentindo como nunca tinha me sentido na minha vida, estava me sentindo muito bem, com o corpo pedindo mais, acho que foi aí que a danada da corrida me mordeu.</p>
<p>Treinei duro por 1 mês inteiro! Corri minha primeira &#8220;prova&#8221;. Foi uma prova de 6 km na Praia de Copacabana com uns amigos do trabalho, Eu estava com medo de não conseguir completar, já que o meu treino mais longo haviam sido míseros 5 km! Como eu iria completar 6 km??? Correndo&#8230; é claro! E por sinal, corri muito bem, no final estava me sentindo muito bem, como sempre.</p>
<p>Depois participei de mais uma prova de 5 km, mas estava insatisfeito&#8230; Precisava de um desafio maior.</p>
<p>&#8220;Preciso encarar os temidos 10 km!&#8221; Tomei a decisão.</p>
<p>Comecei a treinar pesado, correndo e malhando, correndo e malhando. Corri minha primeira prova de 10 km em uma das provas do Circuito das Estações Adidas Etapa Verão em 2008. Fiquei orgulhoso de mim mesmo, fui o único do grupo do trabalho a correr os 10 km, fiz essa façanha em 1:02:30.</p>
<p>Acabei correndo mais algumas provas de 10 km e revezamento com o pessoal do trabalho. Antes mesmo de minha nova vida como &#8220;corredor&#8221; fazer 1 ano, eu já estava inquieto novamente, 10 km já não era um desafio tão grande assim. Então me inscrevi na prova de 10 Milhas da Mizuno. O percurso foi em um circuito fechado de 5 milhas ou 8 km, a primeira volto eu fui muito bem, na segunda eu comecei a me sentir um pouco cansado, acabei correndo a primeira volta um pouco mais forte do que a segunda volta, mas completei a corrida em 1:38:59 em um dia bem quente no Aterro do Flamengo.</p>
<p>Quando comecei a gostar, percebi que provas mais longas do que 10 km são um pouco menos freqüentes, mas me animei com a corrida e me inscrevi na minha primeira meia maratona. Comecei os treinamentos, até então sozinho, com &#8220;ajuda&#8221; de sites e planilhas de revistas, fui em frente. A essa altura <a href="http://valveg.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">minha esposa</a> já havia se animado com a corrida também, ela tinha virado minha companheira de corridas e acabei inscrevendo ela junto na Meia.</p>
<p>Treinamos duro mais uma vez, mas infelizmente, 2 meses antes da prova, eu precisei passar por uma operação, descobri que eu tinha uma pedra bem grande na vesícula. Uma coisa estranha já que eu era Vegano há uns 4 anos. A operação foi perfeita, minha vesícula não estava inflamada e eu pude guardar minha pedra, mas meus treinamentos seriam arruinados, eu precisei ficar 1 mês de molho, sem fazer nenhum exercício, nas primeiras semanas eu mal conseguia levantar da cama sozinho. <a href="http://valveg.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Minha mulher</a> cuidou de mim e não me deixou desanimar com a situação, afinal de contas eu teria 1 mês antes da prova para tentar recuperar qualquer condicionamento físico que restara.</p>
<p>Treinei o máximo que eu pude, intervalados, longos e treinos mais leves, então a data chegou. No dia 6 de Setembro de 2009, eu e minha querida <a href="http://valveg.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">companheira de corridas</a> acordamos às 5 horas, tomamos nosso café da manhã e pegamos um ônibus para a largada na Praia de São Conrado, lá encontramos com alguns amigos novos e antigos, todos com o mesmo objetivo, completar os 21,097 km de corrida!</p>
<p>A corrida foi muito dura, eu senti a falta do treinamento, quando cheguei à Praia de Botafogo, meu tanque já estava no suspiro, fui trotando/andando até o final, a pior parte foi passar pela pista oposta da linha de chegada e ver todos comemorando sabendo que eu ainda teria alguns Kms pela frente. Terminei essa corrida em 2:36:28, fiquei em 7.963º lugar no geral e 1.239º na faixa etária. Havia sido uma experiência horripilante, mas mesmo assim, eu queria fazer melhor.</p>
<p>Comecei a pensar no próximo desafio, continuei correndo sem compromissos, corri a Nike Human Race que são só 10 km, mas o percurso passa por partes do percurso da Meia Maratona, largamos no final da Barra da Tijuca e corremos até o Jardim de Alah, foi uma boa prova, um dia bem quente, essa prova me ajudou a recuperar as confianças em mim mesmo depois da derrota na Meia Maratona, não foi meu melhor tempo nos 10 km, mas fiz a prova em 1:03:32. Poderia ter feito um tempo melhor se não fosse pelo bolo de gente na largada e na subida da Avenida Niemeyer, no geral, foi uma boa prova.</p>
<p>No final de 2009, comecei a treinar ciclismo em paralelo com a corrida por influência de <a title="MeTA Treinamento" href="http://www.metatreinamento.com/" target="_blank">uma amiga (MeTA Treinamento)</a>. Continuei com as provas ocasionais de corrida de 10 km para ganhar as camisas e quando entramos em 2010, resolvi me inscrever na Maratona Caixa da Cidade do Rio de Janeiro 2010, é claro que a minha mulher foi na roubada junto comigo! <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Procuramos por um treinamento que nos faria atingir nossos objetivos. Depois de muita pesquisa, decidi que deveríamos seguir o treinamento sugerido por <a href="http://www.ultramarathonman.com/">Dean Karnazes</a> em seu livro <a href="http://www.google.com.br/search?hl=pt-BR&amp;client=firefox-a&amp;hs=Ejo&amp;rls=org.mozilla%3Apt-BR%3Aofficial&amp;q=dean+karnazes+50+maratonas+em+50+dias&amp;aq=f&amp;aqi=&amp;aql=&amp;oq=&amp;gs_rfai=" target="_blank">50 Maratonas em 50 Dias</a>. Começamos muito bem, praticamente do início do treinamento, já que o próprio Karnazes insiste que você inicie o treinamento a partir da semana em que o treino mais longo for a mesma distancia do seu ultimo treino mais longo.</p>
<p>Na metade do caminho, nós demos uma desanimada&#8230; o treinamento para uma maratona é longo, muito longo. Eu comecei a treinar com o pessoal do <a href="http://waltertuche.blogspot.com/">Walter Tuche Assessoria Esportiva</a>, acabei deixando de lado o treino do Karnazes. Meus treinamentos se intensificaram bastante em quantidade e freqüência, meu estímulo ainda não estava 100%, acabei perdendo um dos treinos mais importantes, o mais longo dos longos&#8230;</p>
<p>Depois de mais de 6 meses de treino, o grande dia havia chegado&#8230;</p>

<p><strong>Directions</strong> Preheat the oven to 350° F. Cook the quinoa according to package directions. Set aside.</p>
<p>Heat 1/2 tablespoon of the oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook about 10 minutes, until transparent. Add mushrooms and continue cooking another 4 to 5 minutes. When mushrooms are softened, add carrots and red bell peppers. Cook for a few minutes, then add parsley and spinach, mixing after each addition.</p>
<p>Let spinach wilt and then stir in cinnamon and cumin.</p>
<p>Add cooked quinoa and toss gently to combine. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and stir in cashews. Divide quinoa mixture evenly between red and yellow bell peppers, gently packing it down and making sure to fully fill each pepper.</p>
<p>Top each with its reserved top and arrange peppers, upright, in a greased deep baking pan. Cover the pan, bake for 45 to 50 minutes. Peppers are done when there is just a slight give to the flesh. Serves six.</p>

<p>PUBLISHED 09/10/2007     							 One of Cora&#8217;s simple tricks to add taste without calories is to use vinegars and citrus juices, as in these vegetable kabobs. &#8220;When you put a squeeze of citrus&#8211;lemon or lime&#8211;on anything, it just makes it pop,&#8221; she says.</p>
<p>3 bell peppers, all colors, cut into two-inch pieces<br />
2 portobello mushrooms, cut into quarters<br />
2 zucchini, cut into two-inch rounds<br />
1 red onion, cut in two-inch pieces</p>
<p><strong>Vegetable Rub</strong><br />
Salt and freshly ground black pepper<br />
1/2 tablespoon chili powder<br />
1 teaspoon sea salt<br />
1 tablespoon dried orange rind</p>
<p><strong>Basque-Style Green Sauce</strong><br />
6 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped<br />
3 dried bay leaves<br />
3 key limes (or 6 teaspoons bottled key-lime juice)<br />
1 fresh poblano pepper, coarsely chopped with the seeds left in (optional)<br />
1 fresh serrano chili, coarsely chopped with the seeds left in (optional)<br />
1/2 tablespoon sea salt<br />
1/3 cup finely chopped fresh Italian flat-leaf parsley<br />
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh oregano<br />
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh basil<br />
1/3 cup olive oil</p>
<p>Cover the veggies with the rub and let them rest in a baking dish or large bowl. Preheat the grill. Make the green sauce by combining the garlic, bay leaves, peppers, and sea salt in a mortar and mash with a pestle until a smooth paste is formed. (If you don&#8217;t have a mortar and pestle, put all the ingredients in a blender along with just a teaspoon or so of vinegar.) Transfer to a mixing bowl and add the parsley, oregano, and basil. Juice the key limes into the bowl. Whisk in the olive oil until well combined. Set aside. Skewer veggies and grill on all sides. Serve over a bed of steamed brown rice and drizzle sauce over the veggies.</p>

<p>A satisfying night-before-the-race dinner that won&#8217;t slow you down</p>

<p>PUBLISHED 09/10/2007     							 &#8220;For such a homey, healthy dish, this dinner has a lot of pizzazz, thanks to the fresh ginger, curry, and chili powder,&#8221; says Cora. In Cora&#8217;s new cookbook, <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Cooking-Hip-Fast-Phenomenal-Meals/dp/0618729909">Cooking from the Hip</a>, she focuses on fast, healthy recipes that are easy to prepare. Since you can cook the lentils and chunks of squash beforehand and keep them in the fridge overnight, the final prep time for this recipe is minimal. And Cora says you can peel the fresh gingerroot quickly by scraping it with a spoon.</p>
<p>Cora likes to serve this dinner with fresh mango chutney, a big bowl of brown rice, and an ice-cold beer. If you&#8217;re treating yourself to this dish the night before a race, you might want to make that a small glass of beer.</p>
<p>1 cup dry lentils<br />
1 small butternut squash<br />
1 tablespoon olive oil<br />
1 tablespoon curry powder<br />
1 teaspoon grated gingerroot<br />
1 teaspoon chili powder<br />
Salt and pepper to taste<br />
1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)</p>
<p>Spray a two-quart baking dish with cooking spray and set aside. Pour the lentils into a deep pot and cover with cold water. Bring the water to a boil, reduce the heat, and add raw chunks of the squash (go ahead and leave the skin on to add nutrients and texture to the dish). Simmer until the squash is soft (about one hour). Remove the pot from the heat, drain, and set aside. With tongs, pull out the chunks of squash and mash them roughly, skins and all, with a fork, ricer, or potato masher.</p>
<p>Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a large bowl, mix the drained cooked lentils and mashed squash with the olive oil and all the spices (including the salt and pepper). Spoon the mixture into the baking dish. At this point, you can cover the dish and refrigerate it for a few hours or even overnight. When you&#8217;re ready, bake until piping hot, which will be about 20 minutes if you&#8217;re putting it into the oven right after mixing it or 25 to 30 minutes if it&#8217;s been refrigerated. Serve warm, garnished with shredded coconut if you like and with a serving of wild greens, such as blanched chard. Serves two as a hearty main dish or four as a side dish.</p>
